Doll & Miniature Museum of High Point
One of the south’s largest doll & miniature museums, featuring more than 2,700 dolls, miniature displays, dollhouses and unusual artifacts from around the world. Also a special exhibit of 130 Shirley Temple dolls, 17 African-American portrait dolls, and other rotating doll and miniature exhibits. Groups and individuals welcome. Guides for groups of 15 or more by reservation. Museum Store available. Mon-Fri 10-4, Sat 9-4 and Sun 1-4. Museum closed on Mondays November to March.

Explore the history of High Point. Changing exhibits provide a look at lifestyles through the years. Tour the Blacksmith Shop, 1801 Hoggatt and 1786 Haley Houses located in the Historical Park.

Historic Castle Mcculloch Gold Mill
19th century Cornish castle built as gold refinery, restored as a catering and banquet hall. Crystal Garden is a Victorian pavilion setting, accommodating groups of up to 300 for dinner. Large grounds with Tilt Yard for special events.

Early 19th century Quaker plantation on Historic Register, active in the Underground Railroad during the Civil War era. On display, false-bottom wagon used to transport slaves to freedom.

World's Largest Chest Of Drawers

Originally built in 1926, the restored Chest of Drawers commemorates High Point's role as a significant furniture manufacturing center. It once housed the Chamber of Commerce and later was headquarters for the HP Jaycees.
